We were born into consumer lifestyles, we ingest the advertising everyday in our media and we face the struggle of feeling the need to be ‘in style’ all the time. Don’t blame yourself, but don’t fall into the trap of fast fashion.
Your decision to change to a greener lifestyle should not come from a place of guilt, but rather a place of willingness. You should want to live more sustainably, not because you feel you will be to blame for a future climate disaster.

The sticky, warm air of the DC Metropolitan area has always been a haven for the precious Lampyridae, commonly known as fireflies, lightning bugs, glowworms or moonbugs (even though they are technically beetles).
Seniors, we love you, but that confetti doesn’t magically disappear after you snap the photo for the front of your grad card. You are literally popping centuries’ worth of plastic into the environment just for a single snapshot.

Miami University has plenty of beautiful buildings all across campus, including academic buildings, residence halls and even dining halls. But one that sticks out like a sore thumb is the steam power plant directly behind Peabody Hall.
Pulley Tower was surrounded by a buzz of activity Saturday morning as Newton Crawford ran from student to student, offering up a softball he held in his mouth.
Students who enroll in this climate course will learn about climate change and what causes it, information about sustainable behaviors and how they can involve their families and communities.
