It’s that time of year again - when the resident FC Cincinnati fan on The Miami Student staff is allowed to write an article about his favorite team (and greatest source of personal misery, as befits all good favorite teams), with the ever-present excuse being “the MLS is starting!” Well, it’s already started, and we can begin to draw broad, unreasonable conclusions from these small sample sizes.

The Mid-American Conference (MAC) announced on Sunday that the Ohio University at Miami University football game, originally scheduled to be played Tuesday, has been canceled and will be declared a “no contest.” It will not be rescheduled or otherwise considered in official results.

In August of 2019, Kings Island announced its new roller coaster, Orion, a $30 million giga coaster with a 300-foot drop and more than a mile of track. I was initially interested in this news, as someone who hates roller coasters and takes great pleasure in avoiding them.
