The Mid-American Conference (MAC) announced on Sunday that the Ohio University at Miami University football game, originally scheduled to be played Tuesday, has been canceled and will be declared a “no contest.” The RedHawks’ next scheduled game is Nov. 28 at Akron.
The Miami women's basketball team will add an influx of new talent this year, including five freshman and two transfers. Last April, Nike Sibande entered the transfer portal, eventually deciding to play at the University of Pittsburgh. He filed for a transfer waiver to be able to play for Pitt this season, as opposed to sitting out a year in occurrence with the standard transfer rules, but the NCAA denied his request. Sibande is now appealing the NCAA's decision.
