During the weekend of April 10-11, members of The Miami Student’s editorial staff attended the Society of Professional Journalists (SPJ) mega regional conference in Louisville, Kentucky. The conference, titled “Never Silent,” welcomed attendees from Regions 4, 5 and 12 bringing together student and professional journalists for a series of informational sessions and the presentation of the Mark of Excellence Awards for the best of collegiate journalism.
As the 2025-26 school year closes and faculty prepares for a new year, some departments are undergoing more changes than others. The newly renovated Bachelor Hall will reopen its doors as a new hub for the humanities.
