The Miami University women’s basketball team has had a few rough years since the team’s last winning season in 2019. This year’s team started out the season with a 4-3 record, but have now fallen to 6-9. Although it’s still not a winning record, the team has already exceeded its win total from last year’s 4-20 squad.
Despite the second half effort from the RedHawks, the team couldn’t overcome the 48-28 halftime deficit, losing 63-54. The loss came off the heels of two straight wins, both of which came at Millett Hall.
The Miami University women’s basketball team defeated the Xavier Musketeers 77-73 on the road Wednesday night. The RedHawks improve to 2-1 with the win over the in-state opponent from Cincinnati.
The Miami FIeld Hockey Complex was packed to the brim Wednesday, as fans piled in to watch the first ever NCAA Field Hockey tournament game hosted at Miami University.
Miami field hockey defeated Longwood University 2-1 Saturday in the Mid-American Conference (MAC) championship to claim its fifth consecutive conference title. The win also earns Miami a berth to the NCAA Tournament.

For the first time this season, Miami field hockey had a perfect weekend. Friday, the team moved to 2-0 in Mid-American Conference (MAC) play with a shutout win over Longwood University. Sunday, the team fared well again and beat non-conference opponent Saint Francis 4-0.
This Sunday, when Miami field hockey squares off against No. 4 North Carolina, it will be a battle of teams who haven’t yet lived up to expectations.
After being nationally ranked to start the season, Miami University field hockey is now 2-5 after winning one of two games this weekend in Virginia. Friday, the RedHawks lost to No. 11 Virginia, 2-0, and Sunday the team shut out Richmond, winning 3-0.
After losing 1-0 to Indiana Friday, Miami field hockey captured its first win of the season Saturday, beating Rider University 3-1. The team also lost to No. 22 Ohio State on Monday.

The Miami women’s volleyball team had a tough start to its season at the Marshall Invitational, going 0-3 for the weekend. This weekend, the team will travel to Durham, North Carolina for the Duke Invitational hoping to capture its first win of the season.

The RedHawks were able to score a couple of runs in today’s NCAA Tournament game against the Fighting Irish, but they fell a run short and lost 3-2.
