The Western Michigan Broncos swept Miami in a two-game home-and-home series this weekend. The RedHawks drop to 5-17-2 with the losses.
Last week, the Miami men’s basketball team played three games in five days, going 2-1 during its recent stretch. All three games were a perfect microcosm of how the RedHawks have played this season.
Almost a year and a half ago — the last time college field hockey was played — the RedHawks won their third straight Mid-American Conference championship, beating Kent State 2-1 in the final game. Puzo’s RedHawks first hit the field at home Tuesday, March 2, at 1 p.m. vs. Ball State, before traveling west for two games at Saint Louis on Thursday and Friday.
Miami baseball in Miami, Florida, was a roller-coaster ride, as the team played a tough four-game series against Florida International University.
