Every other Wednesday, while the rest of the Armstrong Student Center sits quiet by 6 p.m., Armstrong 3018, the newsroom is alive with people.
Despite their majors ranging from international relations to emerging technology in business and design, all editors of The Miami Student bond over their shared love and commitment to journalism.
As the end of the spring semester gets closer into view, the staff begins their transition, in which graduating seniors teach up-and-coming editors how to keep the paper running.
Jokes pass on through the years, shared over pizza and the occasional cookies brought in. Though it’s bittersweet to say goodbye, the future of The Miami Student is in good hands.
