Unveiling Armstrong

Emily C. Tate, For The Miami Student

Since 2002, when the need for an improved and updated student center was first recognized, Miami University has been developing the idea of what is now the pristine, state-of-the-art Armstrong Student Center. Nearly 12 years and $46 million later, Armstrong will be open to students upon their return from winter break.

The following information was provided by several officials involved in the construction and development of the Armstrong Student Center, including director Katie Wilson, university architect John Seibert, executive manager of ASC dining services Tina Rotundo, senior director of dining and culinary support services Nancy Heidtman, executive chef Eric Young and Miami senior and member of the ASC board Stephanie Spetrino.
