I never considered my mom’s side of the family, the Logans, as unconventional. I never thought  Thanksgiving with the Logans was strange.  When I was little, all I cared about at dinner was scarfing down pink stuff — a whipped cream, strawberry and jello concoction created in the depths of the Midwest — and playing Guitar Hero on my cousin’s PlayStation.

William Snavely re-elected as Oxford’s mayor

Mayor William Snavely took his seat as mayor once again on Nov. 27 during an organizational meeting at the Butler County Courthouse. Also sworn into Oxford City Council at this meeting were newcomer and former mayor Michael Smith and current city council member Jason Bracken.

‘I’m getting better every day’: Brett Gabbert talks recovery after season-ending injury

Down 21-10 in their biggest game of the season to this point, the Miami RedHawks are two yards away from punching into the end zone to cut the University of Toledo lead under a touchdown. Miami students enrolled in ART 495, commonly referred to as “Saturday Art,” curated a show of their students' artwork from the past semester. ART 495 is composed of 12-15 Miami students who are divided into pairs or trios to teach a specific age group over the course of a semester. Age groups ranged from pre-K all the way to adults.
