Recap: Miami football continues winning streak with road victory over Akron

The Miami University RedHawks football team (3-3, 2-0 in conference play) won its second game of Mid-American Conference (MAC) play against the University of Akron Zips (2-5, 1-2 in conference play). The RedHawks won 20-7 at InfoCision Stadium in Akron, Ohio, to continue their three-game winning streak.

The Miami University RedHawks hockey team opened up the 2025-26 season hot, winning its first two games in the home opener against Ferris State University. Miami hits the road this weekend against the Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute (RPI) Engineers on Oct. 10-11.

Head coach Anthony Noreen and his coaching staff invested in the transfer portal and recruited multiple high school and Canadian Hockey League (CHL) players ahead of his second year in Oxford.

The Miami University RedHawks volleyball team (8-6, 2-0 in conference play) opened up Mid-American Conference (MAC) play on Sept. 25. The RedHawks are 2-0 through their first two conference matches as they prepare for the second half of the season.
