With the unprecedented success of the Miami men’s and women’s basketball teams this March, I had the privilege of exploring some of the best cities and stadiums that the country has to offer. 










Miami women's basketball extends head coach Glenn Box’s contract through 2032

Miami University basketball is building a foundation for something special. Springboarding on the success of both basketball teams, athletic director David Sayler has offered both of the coaches a contract extension. This week, women’s head coach Glenn Box accepted the proposal to remain in Oxford through at least the 2031-32 season. 


Miami men’s basketball’s magical season comes to a close with loss to Tennessee

PHILADELPHIA — The Miami University RedHawks men’s basketball team (32-2) took its second and final defeat of the 2025-26 season, losing 78-56 to the University of Tennessee Volunteers (23-11). The loss ends Miami’s journey in March Madness. The RedHawks played their last game of the season at Xfinity Mobile Arena on March 20.

DAYTON, Ohio – With more than 12,000 people packing the University of Dayton Arena, the Miami University RedHawks men’s basketball team took a decisive 89-79 win over the Southern Methodist University (SMU) Mustangs in the First Four matchup to solidify a spot in the first round of the NCAA tournament. 



‘We’re two-time champions now’: Miami women’s basketball captures MAC championship to solidify spot in March Madness

CLEVELAND – The Miami University RedHawks women’s basketball team captured its first Mid-American Conference (MAC) championship in 18 years with a 68-58 win over the University of Toledo Rockets on March 14. The victory at Rocket Mortgage Arena will send the RedHawks to March Madness next week.

CLEVELAND – After a day of rest, the Miami University women’s basketball team (27-6) came out storming offensively against a familiar foe, the Ohio University Bobcats, in the Mid-American Conference (MAC) semifinals at Rocket Mortgage Arena.
