In the debut episode of 'In the Archives', hosts, Sarah Frosch and Josette LaFramboise discuss Oxford's connection to the Cold War, the history of the Alba Craft Uranium Lab located on Rose Avenue, and the toxic hazard that caused irreparable harm. 

The pair meets with Dr. Steven Conn, the W. E. Smith Professor of History at Miami University, Brad Spurlock, Manager of the Smith Library of Regional History & Cummins Local Historic Room at The Lane library and Jacky Johnson, Miami University Archivist and Interim Head of Special Collections and Archives to discuss the need for this toxic hazard and the lifelong impacts it had on the surrounding community.
