The RedHawks dropped their fourth straight game Saturday, losing to conference rival Ohio University 92-87 in overtime. It was Miami's sixth straight loss to Ohio in their history of "The Battle of the Bricks"
The RedHawks topped Kent State 65-59 on Saturday for its sixth win in the team's last seven games.
Miami baseball kicked off its season with a 2-2 series split at Arizona State this weekend. After travel complications pushed Friday night's game to Saturday, the RedHawks played back-to-back doubleheaders and won the first and last games of the series 4-2 and 16-8, respectively.
After disappointing 4-0 and 3-0 losses to No. 11/12 University of Minnesota Duluth this weekend, Miami hockey's losing streak extends to five games. The RedHawks have now been shutout for three straight games -- the longest the team has gone without a goal in its recorded history starting with the 1998-1999 season.

Competing for their second time in the College League of Legends (cLol) tournament, the RedHawks have gone 4-1 through their first five weeks of regular season play.
As the post-season approaches and after a disappointing series against No. 3/4 St. Cloud State University last weekend, Miami hockey is on the road to take on the No. 11/12 University of Minnesota-Duluth this weekend to try to gain momentum.
The Miami men's basketball team dropped its third straight game after a comeback attempt fell one point short in Tuesday's 58-57 loss to Eastern Michigan.
Defenseman Grant Hutton often feeds forward Josh Melnick for transitions out of Miami's defensive zone. Melnick may dump the puck and forward Karch Bachman will use his speed to try to make space in the offensive zone. Forward Carson Meyer may then jump off the bench for a line change and, if defenseman Louie Belpedio is pinching, Meyer might find Belpedio in front of the net.
Though Miami hockey played more complete games this weekend against No. 3/4 St. Cloud State University, the RedHawks' turnovers from poor puck management led to a 5-2 loss on Friday night and a 4-0 loss on Saturday night. It is the third time this season the 'Hawks have been swept by their opponents, and the second time they've been swept by National Collegiate Hockey Conference opponents.
On Saturday, Miami hosted the University of Buffalo in the teams' second matchup of the season. After losing a tight 72-67 game in Buffalo earlier this season, the RedHawks were looking to knock off UB, who sat one ahead of Miami at the top of the Mid-American Conference East division.
A smile constantly spanned the face of Wally Szczerbiak last Friday as the Miami men's basketball legend made a triumphant return to Oxford. Over 3,500 fans -- the second largest crowd of the season -- filed into Millett Hall to celebrate "Wally Night," a tribute to Szczerbiak and the most successful era in the history of MU basketball.

Tuesday night in Kalamazoo, MI the RedHawk men's basketball team faced the Mid-American Conference Broncos of Western Michigan in a thrilling contest that came down to the wire. The RedHawks looked to avenge a disappointing Jan. 6 home defeat against the Broncos, but Miami (13-11, 6-5 MAC) fell to WMU (14-10, 6-5 MAC) 68-64.

Miami women's basketball traveled to face Bowling Green on Saturday, and came away from the Stroh Center with their third straight road victory, winning 66-62.
