Coming off its conference schedule with a record of 3-1 and a historic upset over rival Cincinnati in hand, this Miami RedHawks squad is poised to have one of the best seasons in recent memory.
Miami University’s car racing and building team, RedHawk Racing, raises money, builds cars and eventually races them at organized competitions across the country.
In an era of immense change in college football, the RedHawks are still finding their niche in recruiting.
On Saturday, the RedHawks rushed for 466 yards in its first home game of the season against Delaware State.
With the hardest part of their schedule over and a 2-1 record under their belts, this Miami RedHawks team has a chance to be one of the best in recent history. But first, they have to defeat mighty Delaware State in their home opener this week.
On Monday, Sept. 18, Martin, senior defensive lineman Austin Ertl and redshirt-senior wide receiver Joe Wilkins Jr. were all available to the media for Miami football’s fourth game-week press conference of the season.

“We played really good football to win by 13 points with three turnovers,” Miami head coach Chuck Martin said. “You have to dominate the game to do that. We did dominate the football game.”
