Miami University’s COVID-19 Dashboard lists an estimated 12 active student cases as of Thursday, April 29. There are an estimated five total active employee cases.
On April 29, Miami conducted 444 tests and received no positive results.
While the seven-day moving average for recovered cases is 1.9, the seven-day moving average for daily new positive tests is just .1.
Estimated recovered student cases total 3,290, and cumulative positive cases total 3,302 since Aug. 17.
Two out of 35 residence halls are on a level 2 advisory, meaning at least one floor has had 1-2 positive tests in the last seven days. All other halls remain on level 1, meaning they have had no positive cases in the past week.
Additionally, one student is in isolation and one is in quarantine.
