The Hugo Awards have been a staple in the world of science fiction and fantasy for the last 71 years, since its founding in 1953. Notable authors that have won their prize for Best Novel include Isaac Asimov, Ursula K. Le Guin and J.K. Rowling.
At 11 a.m. on a cold, drizzly Saturday morning, Amanda and Jack went on their first date at the Oxford farmers’ market. They spent the morning and early afternoon drinking apple cider and buying stickers and croissants at different booths while walking around.
When Katie, a sophomore nursing major, signed up for “Miami … Merged,” her expectations weren’t high. She just wanted to have fun and meet new people. After not going on a real date since high school, she was ready to get back out there.

On Thursday, Sept. 21, Miami Activities and Programming (MAP) hosted a Taylor Swift dance party in Central Quad from 9 p.m. to 11 p.m.
