Intramural Hustle: Part II - Club Lacrosse

In the newest rendition of intramural hustle, we move away from the intramural fields and over to their sexy next door neighbor, club sports. Club sports athletes gracefully walk that fine line between too good for intramural, and not quite good enough for varsity. These athletes remind us everyday that mediocrity does indeed come at different levels.

Miami tastes defeat in first MAC series

In their first taste of Mid-American Conference play, the baseball team (5-16) were on the losing end of a three game series at home against Western Michigan University (11-9). Despite winning the first game 4-3 in extra innings, Miami fell short in the final two by scores of 8-4 and 4-0.

NFL free agency grades

The free agency period in the NFL kicked off with the start of the league year a couple weeks ago on March 9. It was the usual flurry of activity for the first 48 hours and things have since settled down. While teams continue to make moves, most of the big name signings are over (with a few exceptions).

Hockey's Anthony Louis signs with Chicago Blackhawks

Miami hockey senior Anthony Louis is a RedHawk no more. Monday afternoon, Louis agreed to an entry-level contract with the Chicago Blackhawks that begins next season and continues through the 2018-19 season. Louis will now report to the American Hockey League's Rockford IceHogs.
