On the front steps of Armstrong Student Center, students and faculty from the Faculty Alliance of Miami (FAM), Young Democratic Socialists of America, the Ohio Student Association (OSA) and Miami University College Democrats gathered together early April 10 protesting the lack of action taken by university administration about the cutting of majors, lack of staff pay raises and the approval of the arena project.

Junior primary education major Georgia Palko worked at Bagel and Deli, but was looking for some extra cash. After calling her dad with a bright idea, she moved forward with her plan to sell sweet treats on Valentine's Day. With around $50 worth of strawberries, a college house kitchen and a side hustler mindset, she sold 300 strawberries to mothers and lovers.

Miami University’s Board of Trustees met to discuss campus development and approved plans for a new basketball arena on Cook Field, while also addressing administrative changes and regional campus expansion at its meeting last Friday.
