The Mid-American Conference (MAC) men’s basketball tournament begins on March 12 at Rocket Mortgage Arena in Cleveland, where the No. 20 Miami University RedHawks (31-0, 18-0 in conference play) look to continue their perfect season. Eight teams will compete across three rounds between March 12-14.
Three years ago, the Miami University RedHawks men’s basketball team recruited a class of five freshmen dubbed the Fab Five. As head coach Travis Steele entered his second year at the helm in 2023, this class developed into key pieces for Miami’s success, with junior wing Eian Elmer and junior guard Evan Ipsaro pushing the RedHawks to their current undefeated status.
Since its start in 1999, midweek “MACtion” has been a core part of the identity of the Mid-American Conference (MAC).
Year in and year out, synchronized skating is consistently one of the top teams in both the country, as well as the world. The RedHawks are currently ranked 20th in the world, according to the International Skating Union World Standings.
