Miami University Basketball takes down Central State moving to 3-1

Miami University Men's Basketball played Central State on November 20th and took the victory with a score of 80-45. Highlights included a double-double from Dalonte Brown (11 points and 12 rebounds), 15 points from Josh Brewer, and high-scoring games from Isaiah Coleman-Lands and Nike Sibande. The redhawks are looking to continue a strong season and maintain their winning record moving forward.


Miami University Hockey Splits the Series Against Minnesota Duluth

Miami University defeats Minnesota Duluth in their first game on Friday November 15th with a goal in the second period by Bachman, along with 2 others in the third period, one of which was an empty net goal with a Miami University player coming out of the penalty box to take advantage of the empty net. Miami University won their first game 3-1, but lost on Saturday to Minnesota Duluth by a narrow margin of 2-3. Miami University hockey has a losing record so far this season, but they are looking to progress and compete at a higher level than ever after a large win this past Friday.



Miami University football defeats Northern Illinois on parents weekend

Miami University Football played their hearts out this Saturday (October 19th). With the help of a packed crowd for parents weekend, dedicated players, and a strong work ethic, the Redhawks were able to maintain their lead built in the first half and carry themselves to a win against Northern Illinois. Highlights included a leaping grab over two Northern Illinois defenders, a 50-yard touchdown catch, and a kickoff return for 90 yards, which later resulted in a touchdown. The Redhawks made the parents and alumni proud with a spectacular win.
