The Miami Student Magazine is seeking proposals for writing to be published in our fall 2020 issue, and we’d love to consider your work.
The Magazine is a sister publication to The Miami Student that published its first-ever print issue in fall 2017. We’re devoted to publishing creative or narrative nonfiction and features journalism written by Miami students. Our aim is to publish work that might not typically be found in newsprint – we especially welcome the offbeat, the personal and the unconventional as valuable perspectives to share.
We’d love to include your writing in the Magazine! We accept creative or narrative writing, longform work, or features; the only stipulation is that the work must be nonfiction. We’re also accepting limited numbers of poetry submissions to print as well.
If you have a story idea you’ve been itching to pursue, let us know about it by filling out the form below. We’ll let you know if your proposal has been accepted, and we’ll coach you through the process as we prepare for publication in late fall.
