Between March 2 and March 9, police officers responded to 18 different incidents, according to the Oxford Police Department report.
On March 2, at noon, in the 5000 block of College Corner Pike, officers were dispatched to a welfare check. After investigating, officers took a report for domestic violence. While a suspect was identified, no charges have been filed.
On March 4, at 2:56 p.m., in the 400 block of McGuffey Ave., officers received a report about a theft. The victim learned that her personal information for her bank account had been used without permission, and an attempt was made to withdraw money from the account.
On March 5, at 1:10 p.m., in the 5700 block of College Corner Pike, officers responded to a shoplifting in progress. Officers found the suspect leaving the store with approximately $781 worth of merchandise.
Later that day, at 5:03 p.m., in the 5000 block of College Corner Pike, an officer stopped a vehicle for a fake registration. Both the driver and passenger were found to have active arrest warrants from two different counties. Both were taken into custody and transported to Butler County Jail.
That night, at 9:10 p.m., in the 5400 block of College Corner Pike, officers received a report of a burglary in progress, where a male attempted to enter the window of the residence but was scared off.

The same night at 10:57 p.m., in the 0 block of E. Walnut St., officers received a report of an intoxicated female passed out on the ground. When officers arrived, they found the female to be underage, cited her and transported her to the hospital.
On March 6, at 4:51 a.m., in the 0 block of E. High St., officers observed a male defecating on the street. When officers were investigating the incident, the suspect became uncooperative and ultimately resisted arrest. He was charged with disorderly conduct, resisting arrest and obstructing official business.
On March 7, at 1:07 a.m., in the 100 block of N. Poplar St., officers were waved down by hospital security for two intoxicated males breaking glass in the parking lot. Once the officers arrived at the scene, one of the males became increasingly aggressive and was yelling slurs while leaving the property. After the officer tried to make contact with the male, he fled and resisted arrest. He was caught and taken into custody.
On March 8, at 12:41 a.m., in the 0 block of N. Poplar St., officers were conducting a bar check when they observed a female concealing an alcoholic beverage. After approaching the subject, they found her to be underage and in possession of a fake ID.
That same morning, at 6:10 a.m., in the 0 block of Gail Drive, officers were dispatched to a residence for a female who was heard screaming and crying. Once officers arrived, they found the female with several injuries caused by her boyfriend punching her in the face. Officers located the male and took him into custody.
Later that day, at 9:29 p.m., in the 5100 block of College Corner Pike, officers conducted a traffic stop for a driver who was driving in marked lanes and committing several other violations. After pulling him over, officers arrested the driver for operating a vehicle under the influence and with no driver's license.
