Between Feb. 2 and Feb. 9, police officers responded to 11 different incidents, according to the Oxford Police Department report.
On Feb. 2, at 3:21 p.m., in the 0 block of Quail Ridge Drive, officers received a report from a local bank that an elderly woman may have been scammed. After contacting the victim, officers confirmed that she had been scammed.
On Feb. 5, at 10:43 a.m., in the 300 block of Foxfire Drive, officers responded to a call that an unknown suspect forced entry and stole various tools from the maintenance closet at an apartment complex. A report was taken.
On Feb. 6, at 2:04 a.m., in the 0 block of E. High St., officers observed a male jumping on top of a car. When officers made contact with the male, they discovered that he was intoxicated and underage. Officers confirmed that the vehicle belonged to him and charged him with underage consumption.
On Feb. 7, at 12:05 a.m., in the 100 block of N. Beech St., officers charged a group of males with trespassing after they entered the residence and dumped milk all over the first floor.
Later that day at 2:30 a.m., in the 6100 block of Vereker Drive, officers received a call about an unknown male banging on the back door of the residence. When officers made contact with the male, they found that he was lost, intoxicated and underage. Officers arrested him and charged him with multiple alcohol-related charges.

At 5:13 p.m., at the intersection of East Church Street and North Poplar Street, officers observed a male urinating on the sidewalk. Officers then detained the male and discovered that he had been drinking alcoholic beverages underage. He was cited with disorderly conduct and underage consumption.
That night, at 8:51 p.m., in the 100 block of E. Church St., a male entered the police department lobby to report that he had been assaulted by three males at a bar. There are no known suspects at this time.
On Feb. 8, at 2:25 a.m., in the 0 block of E. High St., officers were dispatched to a female trying to get into cars and asking for help. Once officers arrived, they found the female heavily intoxicated and unable to care for herself. Emergency medical services transported her to the hospital, and she was cited for disorderly conduct.
