Underage visitors urinate on St. Mary's Church

At almost 1 a.m. Sunday morning, Oxford police officers witnessed two males urinating on the front door of St. Mary's Church at 5 S. Poplar Rd.

When officers pursued the two males, one was apprehended and identified as Centerville, Ohio resident Michael Russell. Police discovered that Russell was in possession of a fake driver's license that stated that he was 22 years old.

Russell was then identified as 19 years old. He was charged with underage consumption, possession of a fake ID and criminal mischief.

Police pursued the second subject toward Miami University's campus on foot. Once apprehended, the second male subject was identified as Middletown, Ohio resident Aaron Johnson, 20.

He was charged with underage intoxication, criminal mischief, obstructing official business and resisting arrest. Johnson was then reportedly transported to Butler County Jail.

Local police charge 2 males with disorderly conduct

At around 3 a.m. Saturday, Oxford police officers on bike patrol came across two male subjects engaged in a fistfight. According to police reports, the males were still actively throwing punches after police attempted to separate them. The males were identified as Oxford visitor Chad Kertesz and Miami senior Christopher McMackin.

They were handcuffed after police officers took control of the fight. Neither male wished to pursue assault charges on the other.

According to the report, McMackin had an open laceration above his left eye and Kertesz had blood on both his knuckles. Both were charged with disorderly conduct for fighting.

Open Popov Vodka bottle leads to underage citation

While on patrol at 10:45 p.m. Friday evening, Oxford police observed a male walking on the 300 Block of Sycamore Street with a large bottle in his hands.

When the officers spoke to the male, the bottle was noted as a 1.75 liter of Popov Vodka with half an inch of alcohol in it.

The male was identified as 19-year-old Columbus resident Colin Buxton. According to the reports, Buxton smelled strongly of alcohol and he was taken into police custody.

Buxton allegedly told officers that he drank about seven shots of vodka with his friends about 45 minutes prior. Buxton was cited with underage intoxication and an open container.

Unidentified subject steals pizza from delivery vehicle

At about 2:30 a.m. Saturday, Oxford police were dispatched to Hungry Howie's Pizza at 11 West Church St. regarding a theft.

The female delivery driver told officers that while making a delivery in the 100 block of East Church Street, several pizza orders were stolen out of her vehicle. Police have not identified any suspects at this time.

Officers find unconscious, pantless male in parking lot

At 3 a.m. Sunday morning, Oxford police responded to a report of a passed out male in a parking lot on South Locust Street. When officers located the male, he was found lying unconscious between two parked cars.

Officers reportedly observed the male with his pants down and lying with his head on a box of pizza. Oxford Life Squad was dispatched and the male was revived. He was identified as Cincinnati resident Glen W. Burke, 19.

He allegedly smelled of alcohol and replied to officers' questions unintelligibly. Burke refused treatment to McCullough Hyde Hospital and was cited for underage intoxication and disorderly conduct.
