OPD arrests Camden visitor for driving under influence
Oxford police were dispatched to the McDonald's drive thru at around 1:15 a.m. Thursday regarding an intoxicated female at the window of the restaurant.
Upon arrival, officers reported seeing the silver Ford Taurus pull out of the drive thru and into a parking spot outside of the restaurant.
The Taurus then went to the Circle K and a female stepped into the gas station.
After a few minutes inside, the female driver came out.
When she pulled out of the parking lot driving north on Locust Street, she allegedly did not have her headlights on.
When the car was stopped, the driver was identified as Camden resident Hannah Lewis, 19.
Officers reported that Lewis had popcorn all over her shirt, and the smell of alcohol came from the car. The officer reported that she was in disarray.
When the officer asked about the smell, Lewis allegedly told him that she hadn't had anything to drink that night and the smell was from the previous day.
Lewis reportedly performed poorly on field sobriety tests and she was placed under arrest.
At the Oxford Police Department, Lewis was reportedly found to have a blood alcohol content of 0.11 percent on the Breathalyzer.
She was charged with driving while intoxicated, underage intoxication and driving without headlights.
Oxford police discover drugs during house warrant search
Oxford police executing a search warrant of drug suspicion at 8:15 p.m. Monday evening at 101 Plum St. found three males inside.
Miami University sophomore Adam Schmucker was identified as one of the residents.
Police asked Schmucker to see his bedroom and inside his desk, officers found marijuana and several pieces of paraphernalia.
Reportedly, $170.00 was also found in the desk and confiscated.
Schmucker was arrested and brought to the Oxford Police Department for questioning.
He was charged with drug abuse and paraphernalia.
Apartment reports hot tub break-in by nude female
College Suites alerted Oxford police around 1:30 a.m. Monday that four subjects broke into the apartment complex's hot tub area and caused damage.
According to the reports, when officers watched the surveillance video, it was discovered that a nude female entered the clubhouse by the fitness room access window.
She then allegedly let in the other three male subjects through a rear door.
College Suites staff is reportedly preparing the video for further investigation.
The police report states that the four individuals in the hot tub area do not seem to be residents, as they appear older on the video.

Oxford police officers reporting to a property damage report at almost 10 a.m. Feb. 27 at Hawk's Landing Apartments noticed a baggie on the coffee table.
The officer reported that the bag was recognized "through training and police experience" as marijuana.
The unnamed resident who was in the room with the officer allegedly stated, "It's not mine."
The other roommate present was allegedly in possession of a glass smoking pipe with marijuana residue and a digital scale.
The report states that the two suspects are under investigation for drug paraphernalia and possession of a controlled substance.
