Miami U. sibling launches stink bomb at Brick Street

Brick Street Bar employees flagged down Oxford police at almost 1:15 Saturday morning regarding an apprehended subject who allegedly threw stink bombs into the bar. The bar owner said that after confronting a male who apparently threw the stink bomb he confronted the subject. The subject then reportedly threw another sink bomb at the owner. The male was identified as Patrick Leimkuehler, 21. According to the report, he was visiting his brother Paul, a Miami University sophomore. Police said Leimkuehler appeared intoxicated. At the station, Leimkuehler told police that he "didn't do anything criminal and (he) was just having some fun." After being found with a small bottle of putrid liquid labeled "stink perfume," Leimkuehler was charged with criminal mischief.



Residents report sophomore sleeping on friends' couch

While conducting a follow-up investigation at 841 S. Maple St., Oxford police received a complaint from the residence regarding a male sleeping on the couch. The residents reportedly told police that they knew the male and had told him earlier to leave. According to the reports, police took pictures of the male and attempted to wake him. He was identified as Miami sophomore Connor Voncarlowitz. Reports state that after he was awoken, Voncarlowitz was staggering and smelled like alcohol. He was charged with criminal trespass and underage intoxication and transported to Butler County Jail.



OPD discovers Oxford visitor facedown near vomit pools

Oxford police were dispatched to 116 W. Collins St. regarding an unconscious male at almost 2 a.m. Sunday morning. Residents standing around the male reportedly told officers that they'd noticed him on their way back from uptown. According to the report, the subject was facedown near two large pools of vomit. When officers attempted to rouse the male, he would allegedly "somewhat wake up and start laughing at them and pass out again." After finding his wallet, police identified him as Oxford visitor Peter Haller, 19. Also found was Haller's brother's ID. Haller was transported to McCullough-Hyde Hospital for treatment. He was charged with underage intoxication and possession of a fake ID.
