Highly intoxicated female unable to state full name

Manager Ted Wood of Pachinko's Bar flagged down Oxford officers patrolling just past 2 a.m. uptown Friday morning. He told them that a highly intoxicated female was in the ladies bathroom.

Upon entering the bar, police reported seeing sophomore Marisa Shepherd being assisted down the stairs by three
Pachinko employees.

When the life squad arrived, police reports state that when asked her name, Shepherd repeatedly told EMT's that her name was "Anderson Hall." Officers located her license to verify identification. When asked who the current president was, Shepherd allegedly answered "Bill Clinton," but later changed her answer to "George Washington."

At McCullough Hyde Hospital, Shepherd admitted that the reason she became intoxicated was because a group of unknown males had been buying her and her friends shots, and she said she felt obligated to consume them because all the other girls were doing the same and they didn't pay for any of them.

Confused first-year says 'anyone' can get alcohol

Just past 12:30 a.m. Friday morning, Oxford Police were dispatched to N. Locust Street in reference to a female on the ground near the railroad tracks.

When they arrived, officers actually located the female on the ground one block down on a lawn by W. Church Street. Police identified her as Miami University first-year Elizabeth Cote. She told police that she thought she was in the yard near Bell Tower.

When asked how she became so intoxicated, Cote allegedly told officers that she got "shitfaced" at the dorms. When they pointed out that she was only 19 years old, Cote reportedly told officers that she was 19 and at that age, "anyone can get alcohol in this town."

Cote was issued a ticket for underage intoxication.

MU male allegedly runs at officers, exposes himself

At 6:35 a.m. Saturday, while on a fire investigation at the Sigma Nu Fraternity house across the street, Oxford Police Sgt. Dennis Colyer observed a group of males standing in the yard of 405 E. Vine Street. Reportedly, one of the males pulled off his shorts, then his underwear down to his ankles, fully exposing himself. He then allegedly began running toward the officer's location.

Sophomore James Faherty, 20, was cited for both public indecency and underage intoxication. Faherty allegedly told the officer that another member of the group he was with bet him $10 that he wouldn't run through the fraternity house naked.
