Student receives citation after harassing females
Miami University sophomore Nathan Dumont was cited for underage intoxication around 1 a.m. Saturday morning after police noticed Dumont impeding two females from walking down East High Street.
According to the police report, officers approached the individuals and heard Dumont yelling, "Fine, call the cops. I want you to call the cops." When police investigated further, they found that Dumont was under the age of 21, and admitted to having consumed four or five alcoholic drinks that evening. Police said in the report that one female said, "Thank you. He has been harassing us the whole way."
ID stolen by 'transvestites' leads to visitor's arrest
Miami University senior Joshua Kellerman reported an unknown, unconscious male in his apartment bathroom at 315 S. Poplar St. at approximately 3:15 a.m. Sunday morning. Kellerman told dispatchers that the subject entered the residence through an unlocked front door, passed out in the bathroom, and woke up everyone in the residence.
According to reports, when police arrived the male was unresponsive to verbal commands. The reports said when officers rolled him over, the subject had a swollen left eye from an earlier altercation. When the male awoke, the officers asked for identification from him. The man explained that he, "did not have a driver's license because it was stolen by transvestites over in Costa Rica."
After police located the male's passport, they identified him as Timothy L. Sage, 24, of Maineville, Ohio. Sage allegedly attempted to stand, but stumbled into the bathtub. When Sage told officers he didn't know where he was going to stay, officers brought him back to the police station.
The report states that Sage became belligerent and argumentative with officers at the station, which resulted in a citation for disorderly conduct. Police discovered from Sage that he was visiting his younger brother, who is a Miami student who could not be located. Sage was transported to Butler County Jail. Sage was also charged with criminal trespass.
