Commissioners cut county budget

The Butler County Board of Commissions expects to cut around $6 million from its annual budget, hoping to balance its costs and expenses in the midst of an economic downturn. City approves land purchase for well usage

An ordinance that passed council Tuesday night could save the city tens of thousands of dollars in electricity costs annually. Starbucks plans to close 300 stores

Starbucks has announced that it will be closing 300 stores this year, including 200 in the United States. The cuts could result in as many as 6,000 store employees and 700 other employees losing their jobs. Sexual assault victim's program to begin mid-February

A 10-week sexual assault survivors therapy group, led by local psychotherapist Terri Spahr Nelson will be held in Oxford mid-February through the end of the semester. The group will meet weekly to discuss issues of sexual assault and abuse on Miami University's campus.… Post the First Comment
