Students and their parents pay thousands of dollars every semester in tuition, classroom fees and other expenses, but those biannual bills could be slightly less costly if university voicemail services are amended. After a busy month at the Student Health Services Center, with long lines and a crowded parking lot, the parking system is changing in order to try to meet student needs. MU sees small increase in substance abuse

The 2007 fall semester at Miami University led to slight increase in student violations of underage intoxication and a nearly 50 percent increase in reported drug offenses. The most popular drug involved with these offenses was marijuana. Campus Ministries to use grant for interfaith dialogue

Miami University Campus Ministries may have one more reason to smile. The Campus Ministry Center has received a grant of $8,100 that will be split with Sinclair Community College, Clark State Community College and Central State University. The grant; presented by the Synod of the Covenant, a governing body of the Presbyterian Church; will be used to fund their new program, titled "A Season of Nonviolence: Practicing the Vocation of Peace Building through Interfaith Dialogue.… Post the First Comment
