Oxford to repair bumps, brick damages from Main to Beech

City to repave portion of High Street
Uptown's High Street is scheduled to get a makeover this summer-some of the bumps that have formed because of extensive use are to be smoothed away. The block between Main and Beech streets will be repaired and Scott Otto, an intern in Oxford's engineering division who helped lay out the construction plan, explained why this block was chosen over other damaged sections of High Street.… Post the First Comment

Resident to run for district representative

Oxford resident Timothy Derickson is one of three Republicans vying for the March 4 primary vote for Ohio's House District 53. Recovery services opens new treatment center

Sojourner Recovery Services opened a new clinic Jan. 17 to allow for a newer type of treatment for people who have an opioid dependency. Brent Russell, development director for Sojourner Recovery Services, said Sojourner is a private nonprofit facility that provides chemical dependency treatment for patients.… Post the First Comment
