Miami falls short at Kent State
A hot Miami University basketball team (12-12, 8-4 MAC) was denied its fifth straight win by the stifling defense of Kent State (16-9, 9-3 MAC), as the RedHawks fell to the Golden Flashes 61-45 Wednesday night in Kent, Ohio. The loss drops Miami to third place in the MAC East, one game behind the Golden Flashes and now two games behind the idle Akron Zips.… Post the First Comment

Cupid was on Miami University's side Wednesday night, as the RedHawks defeated the University at Buffalo Bulls 71-68 at Millett Hall. The Valentine's Day victory saw the women's basketball team's record increase to 12-13 overall and 6-6 in MAC play.
