Fresh start on horizon for football

Abstract:
I'll admit that I gave the 2006 Miami University football team a lot of flack after their dismal season, its first losing season since 1989.

But who could blame me?...

Nice story. Glad to see you are drumming up some support for what will be a very good team this year. Now more importantly, you mentioned the UC game on 9/15/07. It is imperative that Miami fans, students, parents, families come to this game. UC has started a campaign, "Black out the RedHawks" where they want more UC fans at this game than Miami fans. That simply cannot be allowed to happen. A link below will take you to a discussion on this very topic. I would urge the Miami Student, as voice of the campus, to get students motivated to attend this game, as well as every other Miami home game. This team deserves your support. The paper can act as a catalyst to motivate the masses. Don't sit at home and watch OSU, ND or some other school-get out and support your RedHawks!! Bruce "Bluesman" Weingart, Miami 1987.
