This is an important step for Oxford. As we work to create a sustainable greener community, the elimination of cars has always been a major hurdle. Given the derth of legal parking options in Oxford, it makes better sense to ditch the car, buy a bike Uptown, and ride it for your four year stay. Amtrak will serve as a legitimate option for almost 2/3 of Miami's population. Much better than sitting in traffic hung over after a sleep deprived week of exams.

Lets hope that the community and council get behind this neccessary plan. As most of us discover in Europe, train travel is a cheaper, quicker, mode of transportation.

Yeah Amtrak!

Right on Green Man. Does anybody know how students/faculty/Oxford residents could work to support the proposed Amtrak stop? What can we do to make it happen?

What a great idea. That's one of the ways we got to Oxford from Chicago in the 1950's! Keep up the good work!
