ASG upholds court ruling on election

Abstract:

A dispute that started Tuesday night between student senators and student court came to a head Thursday when student body president Mike Scott and ASG advisers walked out of a special session....

I would briefly like to correct a misconception in the article so that students have the facts. Courtney Cochran, Student Body Vice President, errs when she says that Student Court did not look at the bylaws or have copies of them. In fact, we heavily scrutinized the bylaws throughout testimony and deliberations and made our decision accordingly.

Gee Jan. Why so defensive? Maybe because you made a mockery of ASG, its constitution, Student Senate, the student body and Miami University with that ruling. Good work!

Sounds like an important correction to me. John Rogers, why so OFFENSIVE? And if we want to discuss who is making a mockery of the Student Government, we may want to take a look at the Senate first...
