Hi Kelly,

I would be interested in writing to the troops. If there is a way to e-mail them, that would be even better. I think this is great and I'm sure the soldiers appreciate it. Please let me know if there is a way for me to be a "pen pal" of sorts. I would really appreciate it.

Thanks,
Lisa

I would be interested in writing to soldiers across seas. My brother is in the Navy and we are fortunate that his was based in the U.S., but I have had friends who have served in Iraq and have come home saying that the only thing that kept them going were our letters. I would be more than willing to write to more that one person as well. Keep me in mind. You have my e-mail address and I hope to hear from you soon!

Dear Kelly: I think what you are doing is very needed for our soldiers. They need to know that their service is very much appreciated by the United States Citizens and others. Please e-mail me some soldiers names and addresses as I have other friends here in Milwaukee, WI that would like to write letters of encouragement and kindess to our brave men and women serving our country by their own free will so that we can enjoy our freedoms daily. Thank you, Mary

How can I send some christmas cards to either vets in hospitals or soldiers serving now? I am a disabled vet in Tucson. I have some cards ready to send to anyone in the military just to give a christmas cheer.

Hi, I had read an article in a magazine about a lady that was sending e-mails to a Marine that did'nt have any one to send him letters or e-mails, and it just killed me. I did'nt even know you could do this unless you were family! I would really like to find more about it. It would really be nice if I could write to someone who don't have anybody else to care about them so they would know someone does! Instead of someone that already gets mail. You know what I mean?

Hi, I felt a need in my heart to communicate with any soldier needing a letter/friend. I am considered a "senior" have had members of my family safely return home and just willing to somehow make a difference. Do you have someone on your list?

i would love to write soldiers letters. I am currently a High School Student and i think what they are doing out there is so brave it's unbelieveable. I am currently a C.A.P. member (Civil Air Patrol) and my goal in life is to complete for years of ROTC and base camp then join the Air Force as a Lt. if i am lucky enough. I want to send letters as much as i can in the mean time. I want to let them know that there are people that care and appericate what they are doing. What THEY are risking their lives for. I would just like to thank them.
