Employees have new way to purchase sport tickets
Miami University has changed the way faculty and staff can purchase season tickets for sporting events. Faculty and staff now have the option of buying tickets on a 4-month payment plan. In order to be eligible, tickets must be ordered by Friday, May 1. There is also an option for a three-month payroll deduction plan for purchasing tickets, in which $35 will be deducted from each paycheck.
For $105, Miami employees will receive premium ticket locations at Yager Stadium, near the 20 and 40-yard lines. Miami's faculty and staff can save $15 for season tickets, compared to pricing for the general public.
The RedHawks' 2009 home-game lineup includes the season opener against the University of Kentucky Sept. 5 at Paul Brown Stadium in Cincinnati. The homecoming game will be against Northern Illinois Oct. 24. Miami will play Toledo Oct. 31, Bowling Green Nov. 12 and Buffalo Nov. 18, all at Yager Stadium.
